My life as a child was not like much others. My father, Alphonse had a long time friend named Beaufort, when he died, my father become the protector of his daughter, and my soon to be mother, Caroline. They ended up getting married 2 years later and I was soon born after that. I had a interest in science and alchemy as an child, I liked to read books on the subject, although, my father thought I was wasting my time, he thought there were better things out there for myself. During my childhood I had a very good friend named Elizabeth Lavenza. The daughter of my fathers sister. her mother passed away, I was about four years old at the time. my family decided to adopt her. We grew up together as best friends. As a teenager I became  increasingly fascinated by the mysteries of the natural world. I stumbled upon a book by Cornelius Agrippa, I really liked to study the discoveries found by Agrippa. At age 17 I left my family and what I know to attend the university at Ingolstadt. My mother caught a very bad sickness from Elizabeth just before I departed. My mother had been taking care of Elizabeth trying to get her back to full health. although Elizabeth would become fine, my mother would die. Right before she died though she begged for me to marry Elizabeth. Several weeks later I left  to attend the university still sadden by my mothers death. After arriving I attack my study's with full force, after several years of tireless work I have mastered everything that my professors had to teach me. I soon hide myself away in my apartment where no one at all can see me work, I start cracking at life and how it's done. I push everything else away from me, family, friends. I had no more social life, I was sad and lonely.
